The transformation of La Santamaletería in León, Guanajuato, demonstrates how strategic design can revitalize a business. The challenge wasn't just about flavor, but about positioning the brand as a benchmark of contemporary Mexican culture. To achieve this, we developed a branding strategy that gave rise to San Tamal, a character created to become the heart and voice of the brand. The new visual and conceptual identity allowed them to connect with a multigenerational audience, ensuring that both long-time customers and new consumers recognized themselves in the brand. The result was the consolidation of an authentic, memorable, and competitive offering, capable of honoring its roots while establishing a strong presence in the local market.
